Q) I have referred friends by clicking on the REFER A FRIEND button. What happens now?
A) You will be rewarded by earning REFERAL POINTS for a friends purchase on LENSESONLY.co.za. The points are calculated as a percentage of your friends order. If a friends order amounts to R750, you will get 2.5% of that as REFERAL POINTS. Therefore you will be awarded 18.75 POINTS, 1 POINT = 1 RAND
This means that the next time you order your contact lenses you will receive a discount of R18.75

Q) I have almost 500 REFERAL POINTS. Can you give me a refund of R500?
A) No, these are points and not money. They can only be used by you as a discount on LENSESONLY.co.za

Q) I want to try a different brand of contact lens that I have not worn before. Can this be done?
A) It is always best to stay with what you know works for you. If you wish to try another brand it is advisable to consult your eye care provider, who will fit a trial lens first to make sure you are happy with your choice.

Q) I can't find my brand of contact lens on your site! What should I do?
A) Let us know and we'll see what we can do.

Q) I have got my contact lenses from you before, how do I get more?
A) Login and re-order. Once we have your records it is easy!

Q) Can I claim contact lenses from my medical aid?
A) Yes, fill out the medical aid details found under My Profile once you have logged in. You will still pay us directly, but you can claim back from your medical aid. Your contact lenses will arrive with an invoice and receipt which can be submitted to the medical aid.

Q) Can I collect my contact lenses from you directly?
A) Yes. We are based in Killarney Mall, Johannesburg. You must still place your order online so that a reference number is generated and we can order your contact lenses from the suppliers. Once your order is ready for collection, we will send you an email.

Q) Can I claim coloured contact lenses from my medical aid?
A) No, a medical aid will only pay for clear prescription contact lenses.

Q) My details have changed! How do I update my profile settings?

A) Login and click on My Profile to update your details.

Q) How much does delivery cost?

A) Physical delivery to your door costs R45 and postal delivery R25. If your order exceeds R500 then your delivery is FREE!

PLEASE NOTE: If you choose a physical delivery, please ensure that someone is there during office hours to sign for the delivery. (A place of work is the preferred location)

Q) How long does delivery take?
A) This is stock dependant and normally physical delivery to your door takes approx 3 to 5 working days and postal delivery 5 to 7 working days.

Q) Is there any difference between the contact lenses you supply and the ones I get from my local optometrist?
A) No. We order our contact lenses from the same suppliers in South Africa that your local optometrist uses. There is no difference whatsoever.

Q) I am unhappy with my order! What do I do now?
A) In the unlikely event that this happens please inform us and return the goods within 7 days unopened AND undamaged and we will issue you with a full refund - no questions asked!

Q) I have not worn contact lenses before and would like to order some. Is this possible?
A) No, you will need to see your eye care provider who will test your eyes and give you a contact lens instruction. There are many measurements that need to be taken. The fitting of a contact lens is very important to ensure good ocular health.
